Photoshop CS5 Basic
Duration: 2 days
Photoshop CS5: Basic, ACA Edition, is the first in a series of ILT courses that provide instruction on how to use Photoshop CS5 to create professional-looking images for both print and the Web. In this course, students will learn about image copyright, identify the components of the Photoshop environment, learn about the differences between raster and vector graphics, and learn how to use Adobe Bridge. Students will explore various methods of selecting image areas and will learn how to modify and manipulate selections. In addition, students will learn how to work with text, layers, and layer effects; how to adjust, retouch, and resize images; and how to prepare images for printing and the Web. Course manual comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download).
Additional course outlines are available upon request or may be downloaded from the ExecuTrain corporate site. Those completing the Photoshop CS5 Basic course may then consider taking the Photoshop CS5 Advanced class. Photoshop is one component of our Adobe week at ExecuTrain. Professionals may choose from any of the main 3 Adobe classes (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) during the months of April and August. If you are interested in more wide-spread Adobe training, you might benefit by purchasing one of our Adobe bundles–which offers a price break when 3 classes are purchased.
All Adobe class participants should bring their own device to class with the software pre-loaded.
